Bukovniško Lake is surrounded by the gracious beech forests. There is no natural standing water in Goričko, so the damming of streams that created the lake, the more important oasis of life for plants and animals. In the lake’s surrounding the radioestezists and bioenergetics have discovered a number of bio-energy healing points of the beneficent natural radiation, which attract many visitors. There is also a Chapel of St.Vid near the lake with the source of healing water called a St.Vid’s spring.
